went to the track tonight on street tires kleeman stage 2

good night I guess. for street tires 245s at that.

best time was a 12.1 @117 with a 1.980 sixty foot

Then I went and raced a cobalt ss supercharged for 200$ gave him 2 and the hit. It was at a event called no/et, we have here at a local track. It does not show times and you dont need safety equipment. All of the local street racers are there racing for anything from $100 to 10,000. Moral of the story is i told the cobalt it was a 13.50s e55 lol... Turns out on that race I get get the best 60 foot of the night a 1.730 and im playing in the gas to not beat the cobalt too bad to get more races in that night, and what do i run playing in the gas? 13.40s so I show the cobalt owner my slip and im like damn this was my best pass of the night, which technically if i would have not played in the gas it would have been.

Not bad. If you get the 60ft down youll deff be in the 11's. Go with FTP's Drag pack, you cant go wrong plus you get a set of skinnies for the front.

You would have been somewhere around 11.7 or so if you stayed in it

Cant sell a tune.. Headers are probably worth 700 and pulley 600

Question why would you sell it all though?

do you have any idea how good your mods are on your car?

look at my dyno and thats with your crappy headers you think you have.I can name 2-3 cars that broke into the 10s with kleeman headers and I cant think of any off the top of my head that did it with others.

your headers are NOT shorties, they are mid lenghth and pretty much long tubes if you used there down pipes and cut the first set of cats out.

you have one of the best an if not the best tunes on your car...again look at my dyno in sig, thats a box kleemann tune and If you really want to run 18psi get ready for your car to blow up.

instead of taking off your mods you might want to consider getting a K4 setup from kleemann.

You are half way there and all you need is there cams and TB kit and retune.

Ill put money that that setup will smoke half the cars on this forum.IM trying to find my friends K4 dyno that he did on the same dyno as my car, from memory he hit 534whp at like 6600rpms with pump gas and a 168 pulley.

PS I will buy that pulley off you the second you take it off,I want to downgrade from my 178

PSS I just looked at the temps from your 1/4 run...bro if you trapped 117 and ran 12.1 with basically a 2.0 60ft in 95D weather you have a VERY low 11s car as it stand with a drag setup and 50D temps.Im talking 11.1-11.3 car bro.

95 fing degrees lol

Lolll this man speaks the truth. The current E55 record holder runs Kleemann headers. And 18psi???? This isn't an s4. A friend of mine ran 11.2 with your setup, drag radials, good air, and different tune

My old Cobalt SS/SC ran low 13's. If you woulda played with the gas against my old SS/SC, I might have snuck one by ya LOL. And dont play with the gas on some of those Turbo SS's, a lot of those guys with a few mods run in the mid to low 12's and that's with front wheel drive (hard to launch). Watch out for some of those guys in a roll race..... With that said..... I still dumped my SS/SC for the E55 LOL

245s just wont cut it on these cars with all the torque.. Id strongly suggest leaving your car as is and running in better weather.

You just some good advise from a few veterans.
Now just get some DR's on the car, make a few passes then do the K4 setup, and go make some more passes.
