Those are some crazy fast and high horsepower cars....
TTMs car sounded interesting on launch...Did he do something to the transmission or TC ?

Yea that car comes out of the hole so hard every pass. He said it was on a stock converter. I have a custom converter in my car but ne'er really got to leave hard as I wanted to. The 10.51 pass was with a 1.52 60ft. Lowprofile really had it all figured out for sure. I just took the big horsepower approach knowing that it would only get faster as I took weight out and figured out the suspension setup too.

In Chicago X's run, it looked like he could have pulled the front wheels.
Clayton, everytime I watch the golden run it gives me goose bumps brotha! The burnout is perfect, commentary is on point, run it perfection. How would you compare Lowpro's car coming out the hole to yours, and also the back end? His car comes out so hard, it is truely amazing and every runs seems so clean.

There really is no comparison vs my car. The best 60' I've cut in the SL, is a 1.65 I think. But my power doesn't come on until after the first 30ft or so. You'd think my roll bar would pop up on launch, but it's really not until she gets moving a bit. It's the old turbo vs. blower debate, right? Instant on, vs spool delay but mo' power.....
BKs car was violent. Like 'needs a HANS device' violent. From the moment I hit the "I AM GOD" pedal, it was evident to me, that something special was about to happen. I saw the 1.50 flash up on the screen, and was actually pissed I didn't dip it into the .40s. I made 3 or 4 passes in it, and EVERY single time, it was a tick quicker on the 60 and a tick to tick and half, quicker at the big end. Just kept getting stronger. Bruce and BK were making adjustments during cool down, so whatever they were doing, they were spot on. After every run, we 3 just kind of went through a debrief of the run, how it felt, where it felt it, and I just tossed the keys back, cracked a beer and watched some racing. BK would politely ask me if I'd mind having another go at it, after they made their adjustments. Pretty easy day for me..... Just put it in "R" for "RACE", and let the car do everything else. They had it dialed in, I just kept the shiny side up.
My car is WAAAY different. Watch any of my videos. Even with the ABC raised up, that system just doesn't allow for any squat. Not to mention the pucker factor, since I'm forced to run in dyno mode. I don't recommend it to anyone, that's not forced to do it. I'm lucky that at MIR, the facility keeps the car moving in the proper direction. But I've run in dyno mode, on less than stellar tracks, and it's really not smart. With the 55K cars, you know on launch, if you're going to be in trouble. With the V12 cars, you don't know you're in trouble until boost comes on. Well, that happens when you're already moving about 40mph. There was a day at MIR a few seasons ago, where I lost traction at the top of first, which I was able to pedal out of, but then I lost it again at the top of 2 second. I came completely out of the throttle, then smashed it again. At some point after that, I glanced down and I was right around 100, then she kicked out again. THAT time, I shut it down. I packed up and went home. My wife was in attendence, and had decided that NOW was a good time for dinner.
Anyway, BKs car was just silly that day. I was happy to be a part of it. I wasn't in attendence for the new record holder. But I was able to hear/see that thing getting tuned. Good Lawd have mercy..... Just NASTY!

Great assessment bro, I too have to run in dyno mode, otherwise my power gets cut when burning out. I made two passes like that at the track in Columbus, and it was ugly.
You did an amazing job running that 10.59, if you are at MIR in Nov at the track rental, I would not mind letting you pilot my girl. I would like to study my cars reaction, and temperament during takeoff, who knows, maybe she would like another man to ride her into the 10's. She does like to be ridden hard!
Not only are you a playa, but can haul da mail fo sho

+1 about BK's car (Lowprofile). I was there that day and to say it was deadly consistent is an understatement. It would knock off a hundredth or 2 off ever pass it seemed. Hopefully the car will be at the Novemever shoot out were having. My build is going beyond slow at this point (Darton said 6 more weeks on sleeves). All I know is I hope it's nice and cool and the records will be falling not to mention a bunch of 10 second passes and hopefully some 9's mixed into that.

Most were before people started doing head work but I think I proved my ported heads worked. They're actually back get more work down and he has a spare head that he's using just for testing so I'm confident they will be even better than before.
