FTP H/E Installed *pix*

Thanks for the links Todd, I looked through all of them. However I am still convinced the FTP and Frozen Boost cores come from the same supplier. Even though the FTP one has slightly different dimensions. If you look closely you can see grind marks for where the brackets were on FTP's picture.
Not knocking the FTP product in any way, the customer service so far has been superb. Just trying to dot my I's before I make the purchase.

Here's where FTP one shines, all the fab work is done. The Frozen boost one needs the brackets cut off and new brackets welded or somehow attached. Now the next issue with the FB one is the 1/2" npt fittings, which to be honest look identical ( in the pictures at least) to FTP's 3/4" ones, which might still be a 1/2" ID with a 3/4" OD barb. Hopefully someone who has the unit can clarify. And last but not least, ZZP did a cutaway of the FB cores and found it to be an AIR/AIR core modified for a H/E use. The fact that ZZP might be blowing smoke up everyone's a** to make their product look better is not out of the question either, but it's worth a read.

All of our Cores are welded in house and come with a lifetime warranty. Cant argue they look similar (only so many ways you can weld end tanks to a core.), We would be more than happy to post a video of our welder in action if you wish

Can somebody post an pic how the oilcooler is fixed with zip ties?
I can't imagine that would hold at higher speed.
And isn't there any solution to install it without bulge?
Thanks :-)

It sits on either side, and you secure it right where the oil fittings meet the Cooler. Very easy you will see when you are under there. As far as the bulge if you remove the strip below the oil cooler and some some slight trimming you will have very little to no bulge at all. If you have a C/F Front lip you will not see it to start.

Pearl, both the FB and FTP are using the identical 1/2 npt by 3/4 hose barb. 1/2 npt would be the same internal size so there is no restriction with this fitting.
Keep in mind these particular h/e are extremely heavy.
