I still havn't gotten mine working yet. I'm ordering a new USB/Serial adaptor with the correct chipset from Amazon. Won't have it until next week...

It's just not connecting. From the sticky thread up top, it appears I have the wrong adapter....

Yea that USB adpater can me very tricky.
I bought several and havent got any of them to work.
I have just been using the serial cable.

I'm also using an Intel Mac, running Bootcamp, booting into Windows7, then launching an XP Virtual Machine. It may never work...lol

You need an old laptop with serial port or PCMCIA slot, which I don't have. But even if you do, they're normally so short on system resources that they'll barely run the VM and SDS.
