Look at these AIT's!
Dave just got done installing the Killer Chiller on the car. Still need to wrap the lines and dial in the refrigerant level. Here's a couple of pics, I'll add some of the install tomorrow.

Of course it depends on how long the pull is, but pulling until I hit 4th gear without meth they topped out at 125F. For those who don't know I have a 185mm lower and a smaller SC pulley.

Yes, I have everything set up and we'll start spraying this weekend.
Yes you do!
Same place as you. I haven't yet, but I'm going to remove the HE all together.
Of course I can't speak from experience yet, but I think it'll work fine in the winter. I live in Northern California and the winter weather doesn't get to cold out. Jerry does all my tuning.

Have you done more canyon type runs (repeated short bursts) to see where your AITs generally hover around ?
Regarding Meth - I hope you have a great failsafe....I use the Zeitronix (which you have) logic and it is great, but just make sure you configure the scenarios properly. (If you are new to the Zeitronix logic, PM me and I'd be happy to help.)
Off topic - Do you find the 185 + SC pulley to cause rough SC engagement ? I was told that anything bigger than 175 the engagement can be very rough.

You have to have the ac running for this to work right? and if so would you say the parasitic loss from the condenser is worth the lower air intake temps, as compared to those of a upgraded h.e and ice box setup.

That is amazing! I am guessing you have a IC tank as well - if so, what size are you running (how much ice cold water do you have on hand) ?
I do my IC tank is 5 gallons. I can pack about 30lbs of ice in to the tank if needed.

I haven't yet, but I'm hoping the 5 gallon take once cooled will keep it solid for quite awhile.

I'm running a aquamist system and I have ran meth before, I'm thinking about a throttle interrupt triggered by the failsafe output. I might also hook up my Phormula knock detector to that as well.

Yes, it is harsh! To be fair I like it, but for others I could see how they might not.

cij911 is correct, once you go beyond I believe 90% TP the AC disengages.

Wait a minute, my eyes are not very good. Did I see iat's at 59deg with 92deg outside temp?!!!! I had to cruise around in 105deg with iat's @ 160 in my cl65. Who can install this in my 65? I have a meth kit new in the box ready to install too. Also wouldn't mind an aftermarket add. HE. My car is already a 660rwhp SD 10.9 car. Somebody point me in the right direction in Cali for a good performance Benz shop. All we have out here in Vegas is people that scratch their head when they pop my hood

Great shop, but they've never heard of a Killer Chiller and have never installed meth. I've got a shop out here that did my exhaust, but he is waaay backed up.
It's kind of a waste to have a car like this when you don't have a dedicated performance shop to work on it- That's why I sold my c6zo6

Is Kincaid offering a special GB for kits designed for the e55 ? Also, has anyone documented the proper amount of coolant that needs to be added ? Unfortunately, I believe you need STAR DAS to add the proper amount of AC coolant (R134 ? IIRC), so an independent AC is probably not going to be able to complete the install.
Has anyone installed an inline bypass thermostat to their heat exchanger, so that the water only flows through the heat exchanger if it above X degrees ?
The more I think about this setup it appears far superior to the heat exchanger and makes me think the best option would be to remove the heat exchanger altogether.

For detailed pics go the the other planet and look for the "Any one have pics of installed Killer Chiller?" Go to page 10 and you will see my detailed install pics. This to me hands down the best way to ensure summer time high temps don't ruin any fun. I have my HE bypassed for the summer, once winter comes I will likely then bypass the KC.
