i've never even heard of a President edition CLS. i know the 2003 E55 could be had in a President edition, but never seen a CLS. doesn't look like it has any special options, no 030 package, no distronic, just designo interior? weird... what does the $6k get you?

Why have the car labeled 'Black Series' when it isn't an authentic Mercedes AMG Black Series? They never even made a Black Series on any CLS chasis. I have a Black Series badge, but it's not a 'Black Series' badge. You know what I mean

back in the day on this board almost six years ago, our forefathers wrote this.....
2006 CLS 55 Presidential Edition. One of 12 which Mercedes built for its 12 member US dealer board. It has the special interior (piano black trim and berry-red interior) and the special black diamond exterior paint. However, these special colors and interior are the only distinguishing characteristics of this Edition from any other well optioned 2006 CLS55. The paint is blue/black what they call 'black diamond' which was very common on C Classes after 2005.
