Need Help...

Guys need advice---No to the AMG world...I felt my 05' E55 was a little sluggish over the last few months. Im in NM where it is very dry and hot. Point is I decided to get in dyno'd just to see where she is---

Well to my surprise after 3 pulls the chart read 296 HP to the wheels!! The tech was explaining to me this reading takes into account temp, altitiude, humidity, etc. The air fuel ratio was 10 which he said is extremely inefficient: it should read around 11.8-12.1, basically this car is putting out nothing to where it needs supposed to be. He did say that the temps out here can suck 70-100 hp to any vechicle but still this car should be 360-375 hp to the wheels.

Please keep in mind no check engine light is on, no sensors, etc. I just took it in 2 months ago for the 70K mile service. The dealership didnt say anthing about anything other than nice care runs well. The tech at MOTIVA TUNERS in Albuquerque said I should upgrade the headers, pulley, cold air intake and then full ECU tune. Sounds like a lot to me.

I want to upgrade a few things but not all that. First I believe i should find out why the car is running so poorly, then go from there.
Sorry this is such a long a painful read...
Any input would be great.

Check your intercooloer pump or use a data logger to check IAT`s. A dyno should compensate for the poor weather conditions, so if dyno was run correctly, then you may have a major problem. If the car feel pretty strogn to you, I would find new people for advice.

Compression test may be in order as well.
