Wow, how brazen, right in front of a restaurant where there is good chances of people seeing it happen. Guess these guys were desperate enough to try to grab them not caring if they got damaged or not.
That sucks but usually it is wheels we are worried about. Now we have to worry about a body part like a grille:?
Hate to hear the news but hopefully they didn't scratch the car up.
Makes you want to get a high end alarm system that has a perimeter sensor as well as any noticeable vibration to your car. Then if it does get triggered, you are warned by your phone.
Then hopefully you can catch the guy in the act and do proper justice !!

Happens to all cars... Hell, someone stole the rear "prancing horse" badge on the back of my dads 360. I'm happy that they only took the grilles, vs taking my wheels/keying my car/breaking something.
Just goes in to the category of "thats life" and move on...

What restaurant and city were you in when this happened? As others have asked, any details on the other car such as color or features of the car?
Any chance you could scan more of the security video? If this was at a restaurant, most likely the thieves saw your car as they came out and decided to nab the grills, so the security footage may see images of the people leaving the restaurant going in to their car. I'd think it's highly unlikely that someone is just gonna roll from one place to the next looking for grilles.

The cameras don't really cover the entire parking lot, just the area in front of the building(s).
