REAR SUBWOOFER
Gents,
My rear subwoofer cluster pops, and thats a sign one of the speakers is blown. Question, does that have just 1 cable to power or separate cables to power each speaker in the cluster? Probably just unplug the cable as I hate the popping noise. Any help appreciated!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I'm just messin' with you.
I get the poppin/crackling noise sporadically out of my front center channel speaker. I'm thinking about having someone completely revamp all of my speakers though.

All my speakers are crackling noise. I am just going to wait it out and redo the system next spring.
I have a rear subwoofer also you can have for like $100 OR I have a custom made box that fits towards the back of the trunk if you want

Can you be more clear on your problem... Is it a blown speaker or is the crackling and popping happening even when you arent listening to music? I blew one of my front speakers out and would just balance it to the rear so I wouldnt rear it at all.
I then started having like a static interference come from the rear speakers even when the car was completely turned off. I would have to disconnect the battery for it to stop completely.
Do a search and if it the second thing people know the fix but I forgot it currently.

Have a shop just disconnect the front center and then restart your system. Viola
