Quote: Good for you man...
I hope it works out for you.
I still cant get over the 30% restocking fee.

Currently Fabtechs offerings are:
  • Fuel Rail and Injectors................Copy from TTM
  • Engine Mounted IC Tank.............Copy from Dad's/Tbal's setup
  • Beast Tubes.............................Copy from Mike of Carbon Creations
  • Scoops....................................Copy from TTM

Don't forget the drag radial/CLK rim setup............thats a original idea.
Did you forget the Frozen Boost Heat Exchanger you can buy direct for $179 ??

Not trying to add fuel the fire, just seems like a 100% markup is not very "Enthusiast friendly"
http://www.frozenboost.com/product_i...0b4fee25778e3a

FTP charges $339, and claims:

NOT TO MENTION ITS THE BEST VALUE IN THE MARKETPLACE FOR A H/E FOR THE M/B LINEUP!!

Another option would be the proven PLM, which you can get for $250 on ebay - Just have to make offer. You will see the PLM HE rebranded by a number of MB vendors.... If the argument is: This is NOT the FB HE, the preceding statement is still W R O N G

Quote: Steve - Per my voicemail, email, and PMs, I will not pay to ship the kit back to you, nor will I accept a 30% restocking fee.

I have been very clear and honest in this thread and stated what you told me. The delay in returning the product is with you as you want me to accept a return shipping fee and a restocking fee, which I won't accept. I paid for a product and you can either deliver that product or refund my money.

As for copying someone's work, I am not really sure what you are referring to. I have not even begun to look at my options, but my plan was to just have a local business mold a tank in the spare tire. If you know of a company that already sells a tank like this, please let me know as I would gladly pay someone to do the legwork and am not into copying other's stuff.

Cheers !
Seriously what do you expect a vendor to do with comments like this?

If you told Amazon this, they'd say "have a good day" - that's our policy.
Ever get screwed over on an eBay sale? same result...

Complaining on an internet forum, looking to gain validation and cause an uprising is just non-community activity and won't win you any good graces with vendors either.

There's been a whole bunch of 'stuff done wrong' on both sides here - I suggest you guys take it offline and figure something out.

And if you 'copycat' complaining guys can do better, then ****ING DO IT! and sell it... and stop whining.

we already beat the Heat Exchanger to death... http://bit.ly/QP8h1m

FT-P does make the biggest size HE that is a bolt-in solution - for the $$ spent

ETHICS.. Look it up Toad(Edit- I did it for you...) You have already proven your value to this forum previously.

That is NOT a personal attack, maybe you have a great reputation here.

eth·ics

plural noun

1. a system of moral principles

2. the rules of conduct

3. moral principles of an individual

4. values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions.

***Don't worry Toad, no one expects you will understand - Enjoy

(Sorry - I missed the HE Sh*&^t storm) -

I called these guys out on the Skin they show on Dashdaq thread as well, as this skin was developed my me. I shared it with a few people, and of course here it is. zThey did say it is free, so at least they are not charging for it

Yep, I have parts from both vendors - I'm unbiased.

look - it's a wheel! OMG you copied it!
Going to have to agree with Toad on this one.

Moosejaw, telling Toad this thread doesn't concern him seems kind of hypocritical don't you think? Did you purchase a tank? No, so relax. Man your really getting worked up over this threads huh?

All i know is that when i returned a convertible car seat from amazon cause it didnt fit my son, when the sales ad says up to 5yo/100lbs and my son is only 40lbs and not 3 yet, amazon credited my cc and provided a shipping label from UPS. Thats customer service!!! And same should be provided in this case. Reputation and customer service goes a long way and spreads like wildfire when the product you buy isnt up to your satisfaction or marketed as what it should be in the sales ad.

Some people like paying more for a product/service that isnt what is stated, but majority of others want a full refund!

Return Label was sent this morning to the Customer who is still Posting about the product/etc. We also emailed him and said we will process his return once we receive the product back.
