E55 Calipers: Lamborghini Verde Ithaca
Hi all,
With the help of many members and threads on this forum, I was able to get the correct paint and advice in order to do my calipers. Here is one picture (of many) from a little shoot me and some buddies had in Malibu today:

Let me know what you all think.

Can you post more pictures (calipers look nice) ? I'd like to see the whole car to get an idea of your rims with the car. I am considering matte black F14s for my Opal Black e55 and am concerned the matte black with the dark car will look too wanna be. (Yours looks hot.)

I have only painted/coated calipers once (on a 911) and am curious if folks are completely rebuilding (replacing seals, etc.) after powder coating ?

I usually get scared with green calipers, but those look great, and perfect contrast for the car.
Can you provide some detail as to process? I have wrestled with the idea of painting or powder coasting my calipers, but I want to do a good job, and complete dis-assembly may be challenging.

RPM (Sponsor here) has them with proper fitment, or you can get off Ebay. Not sure if the ebay ones are exact size- Best to order what fits, and its only $15.

Thank you all for the love!
I contacted RPM at least 3 times and got no answer back. Then I purchased these curved AMG Decals off of eBay (even though the rears are straight):

That I wouldn't know. This was my first time painting my calipers as well.
Basically I did each caliper separately. First, I cleaned the caliper to the best of my ability with the help of some brake/caliper cleaner I bought from Pepboys. Then I started to sand the caliper down with fine sand paper. The AMG logo wouldn't come off with the fine sand paper so I had to use a grittier one. Then I cleaned that off the caliper. Second, I applied 3 coats of primer (obviously one at a time; waiting about 15-20 mins for each coat to dry). Third, I applied 3 coats of the actual paint (again, same wait time as above). Lastly, I placed the AMG Decals on the caliper and applied 3 coats of clear coat. It was a very tedious process but the end result is worth it.
