I was just wondering in case anyone cares/can answer. Months and months ago I purchased every possible power upgrade from Eurocharged (Stage 3 Plus with TCU tune)
Renntech Carbon Fiber air boxes, etc...
I'm well aware that the Weistec Engineering M113K Supercharger system is around $8,600 (plus installation, tuning etc...)
What I was wondering is....would most of the Eurocharged equipment have to be taken/sold/replaced with many Weistec components? Or could they all would harmoniously and produce a monster? Hypothetically speaking all my mods + the new superhcarger, on a 55K CL motor, would that = crazy fast?
Thank you

I had the EC Stage 3 on my car before I upgraded to the Weistec supercharger.

The only part I reused was the 82mm throttle valve. Everything else was replaced or rendered obsolete.

You will also likely need your original crank pulley to be reinstalled.

The only other parts that remained were the headers and mid pipe that I had on there.

I bet it's nicer not having the clutch engagement with the stock unit.

In the stock configuration the clutch engagement was not a big deal at all. When you start winding the thing up, like with the 180mm crank pulley I had, it is a bit much. When people road with me it caused them some concern when the whole vehicle shuddered.

The new system is very smooth and very powerful.

How much faster does it go.
So would you recommend parting out (nearly) all the EC upgrades for the Weistec?

basically everything on the intake side mods wise will be replace with Weistec components (not TB, if it is a OEM MB)
You will still be able to use everything on the exhaust side. Bypass valve may be used from the OEM SC

Cooling system will be required for both setups.

I thought about that when looking at the photo's, why did you have to swap back to a standard crank pulley or was it personal choice?

You will have to talk to Weistec to see if they have a pulley combination that will work with your crank pulley size.

They do have the correct combination for the stock crank pulley.

Yes, I wanted to go back to stock size anyway. There just seems to be to many issues overall with the different aftermarket ones.

Per the web site, an upper pulley with the correct diameter to work with anything other than the stock lower pulley will create clearance issues.

Doesn't the kit include an 82mm over the stock 74mm?
I left you a PM too

A 82mm TB is an optional upgrade from Weistec.

Wow.. I would have made it required... keeping the 74 mm would really implement restriction wouldn't it? even only on low boost?

It depends on whether or not the exhaust system is upgraded. If the factory diaper biscuit exhaust manifolds are in place, the 74mm TB will be less of a bottleneck.

Have you logged enough miles at cruise to notice a difference in fuel mileage without the clutch?

This may be a dumb question, but how much is the intake flow increased with a good exhaust?

Yeah, that video doesn't make things look to good when the E55 got stomped by an M3 said to be making under 600whp on a dyno jet and low 500s on other dynos. I hope they just had traction issues and traction control killing the power allowing M3 to work them.

With the New TB inlet location, looks like you could go 90 or 102mm if you wanted.

I would imagine they are fairly even power to weight and thats assuming the E55 has 580RWHP
