That is a good question. Would have been a great addition to products available and something that could really make a difference to not only make more power but to retain power.

I started working on a set myself when I have been home for little breaks (actually one little break) but didn't finish yet, need to do some modification to what I currently have done for better fitment and then finish the rest. Want to work on them more around Christmas time when I visit home again and get them close to or completely finished. I think I will end up selling them though when they are done. I figure I will want to buy this new supercharger and they will be of no use to me and that will also be a nice little portion toward the blower. I have about $1300 tied up in them right now and that isn't including any labor (me and friend's dad doing it) or aluminum material he has given me.

I fly home for a week for Thanksgiving but won't make it down south, I come back again right before Christmas in which then I will travel down there since I believe I will be home for like a month.

one car at a time
Cools the compressed, hot air...making it less prone to pre-igniting.

They are intercoolers for the supercharger. The stock intercooler (as in one) is small and under the supercharger. It causes heatsoak issues and rising intake air temps and possible flow restrictions as well. The heat causes ignition timing pull and loss of power.

The "top mounts" are a design like what comes on the SLR and having 2 and larger design allows for more flow and better cooling of the intake temps so more power.

Oh awesome. So there aren't any actual pre-made kits out there for this? I would think this would be a popular upgrade!

Exactly and with the prices of the 55k vehicles depreciated I wouldn't think any more affordable options will come to market unfortunately
