HID Bulbs?!?
Hi guys,
I was wondering what is the best brightest bulb I can use to replace my headlights with. Started the car today and my driver bulb is out. Figured I may as well replace with something else better. All the aftermarket bulbs put my factory ones to shame on the street. I know they fade after time and I think they are the original ones that came on the car in 2003. Please any suggestions and cheapest place to buy them would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!

There are instructions floating around as well as many tales of horror. The main problem is that you are working in a very tight area with limited line of sight. With that said, what I did was use my cell phone to see inside the headlight housing.
After you remove the dust cap you have to remove the igniter. This takes only an eighth of a turn counter clockwise. Before you remove the igniter, note the position and attachment of a small flat connector with three green wires at 12 o'clock. This connector uses a cam lock which will release as turn the igniter.
After the igniter is out of the way, the bulb is held in by a wire spring clip. Just squeeze the clip arms, approx. 6 and 9 o'clock. Note that the bulb has a square cutout in it's base at the 12 o'clock position before reassembling.
Ok, new bulb in. Now reattach the igniter and rotate until it is fully seated. Now for the hardest part, that connector with the green wires. You will need to rotate the igniter back off about half way (1/16 of a turn). Getting that connector back in it's home will take a couple of tries but you will feel it fall in place. Hold it there as you rotate the igniter back to the fully seated position. You should feel that flat connector lock in place as you rotate the igniter.
That's it.

No problem. One last thing, the vids are from the driver's side. The passenger side is the same but with the igniter 180* inverted, so the yellow writing would be upside down.
