Avant Garde M550 - Time to try on new shoes
Fronts - The concern from the manufacturer was the dust cap. And they were right. The cap does not clear by default. There is room for the cap, just not enough space for the clips to snap in. In order to fit the front, you need to put 4 small dents in cap, use 5mm spacers, modify cap (Cut / Weld) or find a shorter cap.
Once I have tires mounted, we will decide best route. I think Ill just use some 5mm spacers, as I want to close any gap to fender.
Looks good
This.
Definitely would like to know the whole story..... Sizes, offsets, spacers req'd and of course what tire sizes and manufacturer you went with.
I like the look a lot.... Hella-flush or poke-type wheel setups don't make any sense to me. Tires/wheels belong under the fenderlip.

245/35-19 and 275/30-19. I could go 285, and probably 295 if I took off spacers on rear, but 275 is the size I like in back. I have run wider tires, and did not get additional straight line traction.
Wheels are 19X8.5 ET 35 and 19X9.5 ET40 Cost is $1899
The dust caps fit, but I had to dent them in for the wheel center caps to fit.
I am currently looking for a more shallow cap. They made the stock cap about 7mm taller than it needs to be.
