Avant Garde M550 - Time to try on new shoes
In my search for new Wheels, someone recommended the Avant Garde M550. Of all the 5 spoke Concave, these really attracted me.
I was bouncing between the M550, CV3's, SC-5 ect
In pictures, I kept going back to the M550. So I ordered a set. The guys at Avant Garde were very helpful, and informed me that no one was running these yet, on a W211. (Hence no pictures online to look at)
They shipped out my set, and I am test fitting tonight. I have a full return if there are any issues, but I don't think there will be.
Ill post up some pics when we try them on. I wanted to go Black, but they look so good like this:

I agree that the spokes look more in line the ADV.1 - They do taper, and each spoke is slightly concave - Sides are diamond cut, where the ADV.1 has more of a mini lip.
All the wheels discussed are beautiful, but I have to say- All things considered, I like these best
So the fit:
Rears are perfect as is -
Fronts - The concern from the manufacturer was the dust cap. And they were right. The cap does not clear by default. There is room for the cap, just not enough space for the clips to snap in. In order to fit the front, you need to put 4 small dents in cap, use 5mm spacers, modify cap (Cut / Weld) or find a shorter cap.
Once I have tires mounted, we will decide best route. I think Ill just use some 5mm spacers, as I want to close any gap to fender.
Updates to follow - I know Ill be happy with the end result
We will make it work.

They are very similar to CV3, as well as other concave 5 spokes. There are quite a few: (Stance, Forgestar, ADV, Vossen, ect ect)
Why these:
1 - I was able to actually get a set..... (Quick turn around)
2- No one is running these (yet) on an E55
3- I like the spokes and barrel better on these than the others I mentioned

Hopefully they will be mounted up tomorrow!
The wheels on my car now are iForged Flux. Centers are powder coated "Gun Metal" which was as close as I could fine to color matched with Tektite. Its a little lighter, but very hard to tell. I opted for powder coating over painting simply to add durability.
Edit- To answer the build quality question: I can find no flaws whatsoever. The front of the spokes is what I would call "Machined Clear" The remainder is powdercoated (or painted) silver, similar to stock. I'm spastic, so putting on the valve stems allowed me to test the durability of the silver surface. It did not seem to mind my wrench banging around in the barrel - I would give them a 10 out of 10 on the build.

I have always found respectable to be highly overrated... And I never really fit that mold.
1- I think the traditional 3 piece look is getting dated from an appearance perspective
2- I have had two sets of 3-Piece wheels, and need a change
3- Wanted Concave 5 spokes
4- These looked best
5- Also wanted to go to a monoblock, as they seem to hold up better to crappy roads
