Hi guys
Replacing the brake fluid what do you recommend ? And are they all comparable with the original or do I need to fully drain the system or empy the res and flush the old fluid out ?

As long as it is not 100% silicon based (DOT 5 race fluid), you can just add whatever you like....Dot 4 based is what you want and just like motor oil, you can mix without problems...I think bang for buck the ATE Blue or Pentossin Dot 4 are fine....

this is gonna sound like a pretty stupid question and i guess i could look it up. but the facotory calipers a 8 piston brembo's. which it doesnt really get much better than that for facotry break setups. these are 6 piston? what are the size specs on this setup? i mean in marc's case he didnt spend much and they are kind of just a cool part to have. but i dont think it would ever be worth it to pay full price for this? other than larger rotors what are the advertised benefits? or is this one of those look at this rare part i have?

Hi
No the fronts are 12 piston but not 12 in a line , so in each calliper on the front there are 6 pistons each side but not in a line but in a row of 3 pistons x2 , so 12 pistons in each calliper. The pads cover a larger area of the rotor as they are deeper and leaving more of the rotor uncovered to allow better cooling . The front discs are 380 mm rather than the stock 355 mm.
The back callipers are 6 pot with 360 mm rotors . Standard are 4 pot with 330 mm rotors .
They are also made from a billet rather than forged and made for brabus by Alcon in the uk , placed next to the originals the difference in quality realy stands out .

Also tbh had I not have got them for 1600 euros for the full set I would not have bothered !! But where I live in the uk it's all single carriage highways ,with loads of corners and no dual cartridge ways so brake fade on the original has been a problem in the past .
