The first pic I click on is this??????????????????!!!!!!

My brother in law just bought a Ram work truck that looks better than this pic. Look at the damn dash. Is that man milk??

Agree with above posts. Clean her out and detail. Better pics and NO CAR SEAT. I see a car seat, I think vomit, cheerios ground into the carpet, and crap filled diapers sitting on the car seats until you can find a garbage can.

No doubt. Did you see the drivers seat? Looks like driver sat on the outboard bolster for the whole 35000 miles. My car has 31k and the seat (all seats) look brand new. Most cars on here have better driver's seats, even with close to 100K.

OP, if I saw this ad I would pass right by it too, and never look back. I think if you could get 38XXX.XX for this car right now, you should take it. This is the worst ad ever. Now some damage has been done, and I'm sure prospective buyers have checked the cars carfax/will remember it, even if you repost with a detailed clean vehicle and a well sorted positive description. Holy crap. Reminds me of "Why does it hurt when I do this..."
If this were one of FIVE E63 wagons ever made, I wouldn't buy it. A beat car is a beat car. I'd buy something else. And first impressions are everything. They sink in....and last. This ad was not a good one.
I say remove the ad, and retry after cleaning the GD car, getting the dents fixed, and having the leather reconditioned. If not? Take the 38XXX.XX and run.

Haaaaaaa! What they ALL said! Oh and if your cousin is giving you all that and that is such a great deal, sell it to him, keep it in the family and forget Fleabay! Oh and I am not buying that a paint meter did not pick up paint work on two painted doors! Not a chance but props for disclosing the paintwork in the first place.

I know it's been said, but seriously. Give the car a thorough cleaning and I mean thorough. You'd be surprised how much of a price difference a clean car makes when negotiating starts.

I'm going to be an even bigger thorn in your side OP and sum up what everyone in here said.

Your business communication isn't even halfway decent. In fact, it's pure absolute trash and almost hysterical.

I wouldn't even take a second look at that... It looks like you put no effort into the photos and just left everything inside as is. The car is beat and there's crap all over the car. And don't even get me started on your description...

Check this book out. It may help you. Even if you're on ebay trying to sell something, it's still a business type transaction so therefore this applies to this area right now. Check this book out. the text below brings up more concerns of buying from you as a seller.

remember, nothing you say on the forum really makes much difference in real life to you. However, ebay is real world. You can not post there like you would here. That is what it looks like to me.

EDIT: Recondition the drivers seat before you take more pictures.
^ Exactly....Your eBay post was pretty bad and given that you have already had paint work, the rims are scuffed, and the bumpers need to be repaired, along with the pictures you chose to show, it does not appear that you take very good care of your cars.

Have the car detailed and then take some pictures....

In my opinion, the only thing you really have going for you, is that it is a wagon and they are more rare than a sedan. I bought my 08 sedan from a dealer with 45K on the odometer for $33,000 and compared to your pictures and description, in way better shape. We all understand how painful it can be to realize that vehicles lose value from the day you buy them. As people have suggested, clean the crap out of everything and take some new pics. General consensus is that is the best place to start. GLWS

A friend who sells a lot of cars on ebay told me to start the bid at zero. Have the reserve price set and let them fight over it. It has worked every time. Also, your buy it now price makes it obvious what your reserve is.
Set the reserve, start the bid at zero and let it go. Also, add a sound bite/video of the car running. I did that with a bike and it sold in a week. With lots-o-pics!

If you're going to park your car in an empty parking lot and take pictures, at least park the car within the lines.

2007 is 5 6 yrs old with 2013 models out. Price. It is also a wagon. Wagons are out of favor even in AMG versions.

This place is a joke.
Why no picture of the engine? That is the whole point of this car I'm sure there are some noobs out there on ebay who aren't even sure if it's a real 63, they don't know what to look for, as far as they know it could be a caliper, wheel and badge swap !! (seriously) I would say the other pictures look good, but if you want serious bids you need some high res photos.

Also, you need to lower the starting price, put a reserve if you want, but the point is to get people BIDDING on it. If you really want to see what it's worth start the bidding at, say 20k, with a reserve. On the other hand, don't expect to bring top dollar on ebay, it just doesn't seem to bring retail prices on cars.

Gas prices are also still high so that makes any AMG car less attractive right now. The used AMG's don't seem to be moving off our lot very quickly here.

thank you that is all good advice. i'm disappointed with modern engines - they're all plastic covers now. but i will motivate and put an engine picture in. i tried to download a pic of the engine from my 73 BMW 3.0cs with a 3.5L replacement and conversion to triple-side draft weber carbs but it failed. that's a pretty engine...

Wagons carry a price premium over the sedans, and are more sought after.
