Weirdest E.T. vs trap speed?
With all the traction issues that modified E55s have Ive been wondering what sort of weird 1/4 mile slips might be out there?
Seems like someone running street tires or on bad track prep would have a lousy 60' but might pull like a freight train on the top end of the track and still show a huge MPH number relative to the ET?..... Something like 12.x @ 120+

Alternatively, there might be guys who deliberately trip the beams and soft pedal off the line to avoid running below 11.50 (so they don't get thown out of the track) then hammer down the track and put up a giant MPH number with a 13.xx ET?![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
It's Friday, so I thought it might be a fun topic to watch today while I wrap up my work week.

I've ran a 10.53@119 in my E55 when it had a shifting problem. I've ran 11's@150-160 years ago when i was told the cage i had wasn't certified so i rolled the beam waited a couple seconds and made my pass (track didn't think it was funny)

My PB is 11.4 @ 120
All day I was 123 - 126 running in the mid 11's. On the ONE run where everything came together perfect, I let off, only to realize I had not passed the timing sensor yet.
It was late in the day, so I called it good. IF ONLY!!!
Its like that big fish that got away

I went 11.9s at 116 but 12.1s at 118. All depended on how I launched the car really. Hammering it out of the whole and spinning I would usually have higher traps than when I would feather it and shoot for a good ET.

I love watching the top fuel car and funny cars when they'll smoke the tires in qualifying and shut the car down and coast to a 9 second run at 50 or 60mph. Oh how i'd love to know what 10,000hp felt like lol
