Never would believe that Ron Dennis would ever let Lewis go from the McLaren camp. But that is F1 . If Michael could get into a competitive car, trust me, he can still make it happen. Maybe he will end up back at Ferrari. But interesting news. Thanks for the update.

A lot changed while Michael was gone is his biggest problem. I'm surprised he's gone to Mercedes but who knows what inner dealing they had to make that deal happen. Hamilton didn't seem happy lately so I'm sure that played a part.

Big up-grade for Merc AMG, next season will be interesting, will Nico be Ok as second fiddle again? Or does he rise to the challange like Jenson Button has over the last two seasons?
Next big question, can Merc make a championship calber chassis to Lewis's liking or does Lewis get pouty and act like a child if things are not to his liking?
Lot's of story lines for Merc AMG next or how about the un-thinkable, Lewis brings Merc AMG's first driving championship since the glory days of the 40's and 50's

Great trade, Shumi has not been up to his championship winning game since his return, and lately he has make some rookie mistakes. Lewis is a great driver, he has the potential to take a car to a world championship victory, but for Mercedes it has not been the ride they expected since they took over the world championship winning team Brawn GP. Thanks to the new engine regulations bringing 1.6 liter V6 turbo back for 2014, Mercedes seem to be committed to fully fund the F1 effort and bring up R&D programs that can serve as marketing or even better, test bed for future consumer cars engines. This is going to be very interesting for Mercedes and AMG.

This saddens me greatly... I will forever be a McLaren die hard, and Hamilton my favorite driver. I guess I will just have to learn to split my love.
However, I am ecstatic to see F1 evolve and grow in popularity. Especially in the US!
