Sal's car is so much fun to watch make a pass. It's so composed, and appears effortless.
Nice guy too!

that car gets faster and faster EVERY freaking year!! I think he will go even faster at world cup finals in november with slightly cooler temps. I would drive that beast on the street just to see people's reactions. 6 sec 200 mph street car

True!
Yes
Its not dangerous if you're not flooring it everywhere lol
True. But his Vette is also how much lighter? 500lbs?
Yes
Mark Carlyle with his Atomic Orange corvette Z06 with a twin 88mm 440ci LSx has ran a 7.09 @ 212.8x mph which makes him the fastest IRS trap speed making it the fastest IRS car ever. The IRS ET will fall to Mark soon if he can truly hook up soon.
That is def an impressive viper though.

Saw that Viper video yesterday, maybe day before? Was on 6speedonline, people were trash talking saying it would get worked on the street by a TT G since it wouldn't be able to hook on the road at all like it does on a VHT prepped track from what they were saying the whole length of the track? Mostly Gallardo owners smack talking then saying how the tranny isn't a "daily driver" type of setup, basically trying to discount it as much as possible lol. Would be cool to see it running the streets for the Texas events TX2K or the upcoming TI event, see if he could shut the Gallardos up or not.

I was a little off, it was actually a motorcycle owner saying the Viper wouldn't get traction and another guy saying he considers the Viper a racecar but the Gallardo a street car. It wasn't as bad as I remember either, not much trash talk haha. I need some sleep.

I've seen the vette run before in person and that car is fast but the viper is at a huge weight disadvantage. It will go much quicker at import vs domestic. Last year records were falling left and right there.
