Window Trim Vinyled
One of the things that bugged the he!! out of me when I first picked up my 55 a couple of months ago was the purple, tarnished window trim. Maybe mine looked worse than most as it's a 2003 but I see it all the time in E's of newer years and it just bugged me..
Here are a few pic's of before and after I had the trim vinyl put on. The whole thing was done in less than an hour and the cost was reasonable at $60. I went with gloss black to match the "B" pillar and it looks pretty good IMO. Here are some before and after pic's. Just thought I'd share some info as I thought for sure I'd have to spend much more to have them painted. Let me know if you want a better after pic.

Just my 2 cents. No offense to the OP intended.
I dunno about these sticker jobs on a benz. I gotta draw the line here. I cant see any reason why you would want to cover up that awesome black chrome trim. It's one of the many features and accents I like about mercedes. To each is own I guess. The work came out clean it looks good. But, the original trim looks better imo
I see pics of those cheesy sticker jobs and Faux carbon wrapped parts by that one guy who is always bumping his annoying non mb related thread all over the forum. It all looks very tacky to me. Bad enough on a BMW but not on a Mercedes Benz.
