HELP!!! E63 front bumper conversion
Hi guys,
So recently car got into accident, took this opportunity to upgrade my front bumper to E63.
Got body shop order from Gary, then they told me need a bunch of stuff.
My car has parking sensors, so original parking sensors did not fit into the new bumper because the bracket different.
Then fog lights, they said no hardware or nuts and bolt to mount it to the bumper. (are you guys using from the old one?)
Bumper reinforcement, they said need a new one because the old one just sit on top of it.
So bunch of new parts needed to make this thing happen.
Could you guys chime in what you guys did to made this happened.

Check this thread. I'm sure your answer is in there somewhere. The whole thread is about adding an E63 bumper so I'm sure you'll find a parts list needed in order to swap out. Maybe it'll help out.

Also pop off the sensor brackets on the E63 bumper and replace them with the ones off your E55 bumper. Shop should be able to do it and epoxy them in place much like the stock ones.
Good luck. I have my bumper with sensor sitting in my office waiting on BIP to finish installing tons of goodies!! Pick it up next week, then to the body shop it goes.
