Anyone seen this Head Unit for W211s?
How's phone integration? Bluetooth work well? Does it have WiFi? Do you prefer corn or flour tortillas for your tacos? We need answers.

I have helped others install similar types of units on other cars. They look great until you turn them on and actually use them. The software usually is either slow to boot, hangs and has poor interface … or the system fails after a few months of use and the sound quality is poor.
I recommend for those wishing to upgrade is either do the NTG2.5 or get a decent aftermarket branded head unit (Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine), then couple with decent amp and speakers. They are not that difficult to install .. just time consuming.

I didn't even use an after market amp or anything like that - just got Opti-1 which allowed me to integrate existing system with my Avic-140bh .
I'll try to find the post but a vendor here did a solid review of few of these after market plug and play system and the results came out horrible.
Maybe the technology has changed now
So we will wait for Kuave to post his findings

... The only down side was they weren't able to get the factory subwoofer to work cause the sub is powered by the factory amp, so I bought a nice 10" kenwood over the weekend and took my old amp from years ago to them today to have them work on it. Big thanks to Ned and Ted at M-Power Houston for getting this done. I asked them if it was hard to install and they said the only part that they would say was a "hard" is to run the wires to the back and popping the little panels off.
I never had a Bluetooth puck in my car for calling so I never used the steering wheel controls. This unit connects to the steering wheel controls and works nicely. You can load your contacts to the unit and call from there.
All in all I really like this Command Unit I would defiantly recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement from OEM.
Here's a few pictures (Cell Pictures)

I can make a video of using the Unit so if you guys have anything you'd like to see let me know. Ill make a thread for the unit later today.
So the woofer was attached to the unit and the amp ?
The tuning of the woofer will be done through the unit alone I suppose ?
I put a $450 system in my beater '97 Camry and it sounds great. The head unit takes the music from my iPhone directly over USB which is the preferred method as it doesn't use the crap-tastic EQ functions of the phone. The rest of the system is: Two 6.5" door speakers (front), Two 6x9s (rear deck), 4x50w Alpine amp, and a sealed/powered 8" Sound Ordnance sub that fits under the passenger seat. It's aggravating how much better it sounds and how much better it works than the system in my E.
