I think if you put a piece of plywood under the jack you'd be ok. The lights are great, I just ordered two more, for 6 a side.

I have a Craftsman Professional 8' Workbench 40" high with matching Wall Cabinets that hang on an upper Backwall, and matching cabinets that roll under the bench, and a standup Floor Cabinet next to the bench.
I've mounted a good size Grinder/WireWheel on the LH corner, and a good size Vise on the RH corner.
