Your trans mishap happens in all years not just 05-06. I've had it happen several times so I will do my burn out, turn the at off and start back up and put it in gear and make sure before I get to the line that I'm in 1st gear. Get that cooling fixed (trunk tank) and you will drop a couple more tenths.
