This is the most basic of the cameras and is the cheapest of all three. It uses a 5MP camera with a 3 fps burst and it films in HD at 30 FPS. It also has built in WiFi.

The black edition is the bad *** of all action sports camera. It can shoot videos at 4 steps greater than 1080p. I have to iphone app for the Hero2 HD. Awesome setup. You can control everything from your phone. No more having to get out of your car to turn it on/off. You can change the frame rate, picture size, mode, turn on/off all from the drivers seat. It's great.

 

LOL, the kind folks at GoPro were the ones that told me of this deal. So yeah I'll getting my cameras on release day.....

GOPRO 3 silver editions just finally arrived today. We were expecting them on October 21st but we just received them now. I have very limited inventory so they are on a first come first serve basis.

Awesome! The same price as best buy and amazon and they've had them in stock for almost two weeks!

 

I do not know about Best Buy but Amazon does not have them listed, they show out of stock so they have not received them yet. Also, you were very fast to preach to everyone about finding your special deals on the Black Edition cameras, whatever came of those deals, still haven't heard from anyone about buying those.

I'm glad that we have a GoPro special deal specialist on the forum, please share all of your great deals with the rest of the community, I am sure that they all want to know about them.

You can order them from Amazon at the same price and wait for them to get inventory or you can order it from me and I can ship it today. I guess some people like yourself just like to wait around for your new gadgets.

I already have several Hero 3's including 2 Black editions that wont be released until the 29th of November. how? I know the people at GoPro and not only use the stuff but test it for them....
