E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Oil Filter thread. What and Why?
Curious what others are running out there.

I buy Mann primarily, Mobile-1, and Wix, whichever is on sale from Amazon, stock up to fill the shelf. I avoid Fram with passion though. Pentius brand is $4 on Rock but unsure about reliability, understand better than Fram but that is not saying much. Also OEM for some Korean makes.

Since Mann supplies the filter MB uses, it's a no-brainer to use only original MB filters or Mann filters. Not much cost difference either.
