--supercharger paint :0 advice needed--
Hey guys I know ive been on the edge of wanting to do it and make it nice and clean but I was always scared to.. well here I am masking it all up and deciding what to shoot it with. Still need to mask off a lot more and the amg stamp obviously... my surge tanks are at the shop being sandblasted and re done to yellow with engine covers black... am going twards just shiny silver for the blower.. thought of black too but might be tough anyways... here I will keep u posted.. ohh and can I use wired brushes to kinda clean it up and stuff?? I will mask every thing with paper and cloth all around to the fenders

done and i have to say i am dammm pleased with the results... looks like a new blower and was super easy to mask off since my surge tanks were out of the way... color is titanium silver

I was thinking of doing mine using Eastwood's Ceramic caliper paint kit and brushing it on...Problem is there is only Black, Red, or Silver.
I bet the polished housing were done using electro-polishing...

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Heat retention variance with a gun did not show any difference before and after painting mine with 3 coats of engine paint. This was done long ago, no issues. Just clean it well. Painting is 90% prep. Post up pics.
