$540 for a trans service...

9qts of $20/qt fluid...and $300 in labor. I am in the WRONG business.
On a side note though...it does shift firmer and better..BTW car has 39,000mi on it. SA agreed that the stupid book says that its only a one time service is false and that its required EVERY 40,000mi.
Also that Im down to 4mm on the front pads and that the rotors are $1000/ea...but he recommended just swapping out the pads as my rotors arent close to service out spec....dont buy that one

Sorry for the rant...I love the car and my wife DD's it 50miles everyday and LOVES it as well.
Guess high replacement parts and STUPID high service bills are part of owning a high $$$ German Sports car.

Go find a new shop. I do get somewhat of a hookup since i know him and take care of whatever he needs at his properties through my company but i think what they charged is a little outrageous.

The tranny in those cars came sealed and not meant to be serviced.
The same tranny in a W211 E55 does require an oil flush
