Just curious what parts were missing? A few nuts? Where any additional modifications needed?

I believe they are displeased with the way the inside of the scoops look.

berti, in all of the pictures I had seen of them before they came out that's how they looked to me. Maybe I haven't seen all of the pictures before they were released, were there some where the scoops looked glossy and finished on the inside?

I've never liked these scoops at all, but if I did buy em and they didn't fit I'd definitely be complaining! If you're gonna sell a product as working on a specific car it should fit. Now I know with aftermarket parts sometimes some work is required to make it fit. This really should not be one of those cases though.

I agree there are a LOT of bottom feeders ripping off ideas poorly to make a buck.

Sorry but this wasn't really a surprise to was it? These guys are slinging knockoff crap and that's WHEN they can deliver it.... (Don't get me started on that one)

The driver side fits perfect but the pass side does not, the pass side covers only half os the inlet going into the tubes

Completely false....All properly designed products should fit and work as advertised....Unfortunately there are not a lot of companies that really do R&D, proper test fitments, and QC, much less have real manufacturing experience.

FTP seems to just re-sell other's stuff (e.g. Dad's Tanks) and add some poor quality items to complete a "kit" or try to copy someone's product and offer at a cheaper price....Either way I am not impressed.

TTM scoops - well they are not great in my book either. Sure they look nice, but they don't fit, so what good are they ???? Yeah Bruce is a great guy and has helped the community, but IMHO, he missed the boat on this product. Mine are still sitting in the box awaiting to be returned.

Oh man
talk about a fire sale
What i just wrote on the other thread.....
The reputation of this vendor is astounding.....
I would not be surprised if the real Fabtech_Motorsports stepped up to the plate and out a stop order on all the garbage products offered by this outfit.
Being a Sierra 2500HD driver, i know i was confused at first. Doesn't seem right to piggyback on the success of other companies.

Compare the logos......and judge for yourself.
Definitely worth a call to california.

Anyone a lawyer here?

why isnt fab tech on here explaining the situation is he not a sponser on here anymore ? He has like 8,000 threads on what he is selling you would think he would have commented on what is going on. I truely believe he got in over his head and was/is producing to many diffrent parts without test fitting and checking for quality of the product. These are or were "Hi End" cars i want the best for my car with the price we pay for aftermarket parts it better be spot on.

Keep in mind that your comment holds true for present vendors also. Remember the RT-R pulley? What happened to the followup on the testing we were told would be posted? Look up VRP, etc. All vendors are upfront and honest until something south occurs and the cost is more than they are willing/can absorb. Most are small shops that do not carry any form of insurance to cover a bad motor should something go bad or similar. But yes, not sure if that company sold anything here that did not carry some sort of baggage with it.
