Hey Guys,

I think we should donate a small amount per member to Red Cross. Lots of people have lot their lives, homes, cars, and etc. We always help other countries but no one ever helps us. So let's get the Mercedes Forum to donate as much as we can! I wouldn't set a goal but anything right now is good. My family and friends live in NJ and most of them have been effected by this Hurricane Sandy.

This sounds like a great idea! Are there any major charities taking donations for things like this (Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas gifts, etc.)?

I moved to florida 6yrs ago originally from nj right near hackensack called little ferry nj, my whole town flooded.

I still have family there it's terrible what happened I visit every few months. Where in jerz your from ?

Clifton, so few towns over from Little Ferry. My brother's house and parents' house got detroyed last year from Irene so they both put 3 sub pumps in the house with a back up generator and bought 2 gas generators few days prior to the storm. Nothing happened to the houses but they gave away their generators to friends in need of it.

Wow that is real close clifton, nice man. did you used to go to Englishtown for the car shows and drag racing as well I would go every summer especially hot import nights

You guys deff were preapaired this time around with the storm.
Most of my friends in jersey city got there stuff all trashed from the storm sandy everything got flooded. **** sux man

Already donated! thank you for this thread, I live in Staten Island and we need all of the help we can get. Also a friend of mine is selling stickers and all of the profit goes to the red cross.
