User JRCART is the one to take his CLK63 beyond the 1000 HP point. All the goodies Weistec have we're initially developed for him.
I am 95% sure of this. It includes CF drive shafts to handle the power

The guys at my shop ACG San Diego completely rebuilt a c63 into a wide body Monster.. Complete Weistec rebuild with forged all around and supercharger, they spent like a year on the build..
Let me say it was Real Nice upon completion.. Real good power I believe 750+ on the Mustang dino

The problem with comparing high or similar american muscle to our cars is, we dont have anything close in terms of aftermarket suspension like they do Harry.
The solid rear axle with beefy control arms, urethane bushings, tubular k members and drag springs to name a few make our suspension look prehistoric. There are numerous ported eaton cobras in the 9's with low 500rwhp numbers, all in the suspension.

There was a Twin turbo SLS63 at the SEMA show but no info on real power but potential was there to make a lot more than a SC car.

There's a Brabus BiTurbo SLS
By the way the 1000hp CLK63 should be able to theoretically do over 250mph right. I mean if it was geared right it certainly has enough gears and its drag coefficient is less than the Veyron. It's also lighter. Now I'm not talking about being stable at that speed, just being able to get to it. I think it's very plausible with that power.
