Installed Fabtech-Performance high flow Axle back Mufflers W/dyno video & graphs
Seriously I'm surprised that your "Technical" blog doesn't have a photo series on how to actually fuel your car from a gas pump because honestly even that might be above your technical expertise level
pearlpower seems to be the only thoughtful voice in the whole thread.
These were originally priced at $1100 on his website when they first came out. How great can they be if they can be discounted a whopping 30%?
Regardless if you feel my opinion is biased
The numbers put down don't make sense
All this thread serves is just bad PR for Fabtech

I swear some of you guys are so narcissistic to the point of hatred of anything not earned by failure
Now, I cannot comment on fit/finish, welds, etc. However if those are in line, then $760 would be a decent price. If........

I like the stock setup and will hold onto it until something else comes along. Not much tops the OEM tips either.

Magnaflow Stainless steel 3" offset offset oval cans $115 RETAIL $75 wholesale each
Tips $75 Retail $40 wholesale each
3" stainless exhaust piping $18/foot retail $12 foot wholesale 8 feet required $96 total
so he has $326 in this project.....
His claims about lack of drone are as factual as his horsepower claims. I had those cans on my car when magnaflow prototyped out a system on my car.... it was unbearable
Over and Over you prove a lack of practical experience and understanding of how things work, BUT you want us to take your word for it. This village had an idiot like that before his name was Jangy and you are starting to fill in the void he left when he ripped people off and vanished

All about the dyno guys

My point was that The cylinders being labeled differently between manufacturers can be misleading when comparing firing orders.
An LS1thru LS9s firing order is 18726543 and a 5.0,4.6 and cammer 5.0s are 13726548. However GM labels their cylinders starting with DS front 1357 and PS front 2468 while Ford is PS front 1234 and PS front 5678. So if you relabel the cylinders and follow the sequence, youll see that the LS does indeed share firing orders with late model Ford V8s.
I've performed many LS swaps into various non-LS chassis (mostly classics)over the years including three Mustangs. The LS swapped Mustangs sound very similar to a 5.0 Ford powered Mustang when the Ford headers and remainder of the exhaust are used. Louder (more displacement) but very similar.
