Where to get Stealth Turn Signal Bulbs...

I tried searching, but was unable to find info regarding silver/chrome stealth bulbs for the turn signal. Not a fan of the egg yolk look. Has anyone replaced the stock amber bulb let me know what they got and from where?

I'm actually talking about the amber bulbs in the front headlights.

No errors. I got them from AZN Optics, who is a vendor on here. Tell him that Ravi sent you and he will know which LEDs to provide.

I got some LED one from AZN Optics but they don't function right on my E55. I asked him about it and he said I would need additional resistors but no further info was given like how to wire it since its just a bulb holder.

DJ I assume the CLS would be similar so can you enlighten me as I still have these just sitting in a box $40 spent and can't use.

You got AZN 1157 bulbs that were yellow (not amber), and worked in a W211 turn signals without resistors?

AZN themselves said they don't have any turn signal bulbs for w211 that work without resistors.

CLS uses 3357, E uses 1157 and WAAAY diff base, so they dont work. can't just flip them around b/c of polarity bumps are in diff spots. i didnt think i had over looked anything the 1st time.

If you don't want to cut into the factory harness, try these:

thanks for the link to these, don't want to spend the $25 really but hell i have $40 bulbs i can't even use.

If you don't mind tapping into the factory wiring, you could use regular old resistors (about $10-15 shipped from ebay).

facelift W211s also use 3357 bulbs. The bases are interchangeable. I currently use 1157 in my 04 211 with facelift headlight parts.

We have a new limited run of 1157 with proper flasher unit circuitry that are plug and play. It's not the ones currently listed on our website though. Was announced to our Facebook subscribers for first dibs few weeks ago.

Well, they are actually the yellower version of amber, less red. We tried to match them as close as we could to the same color as the W204 C class mirror signals for reference.

To answer the original question, I bought a pair of the silver/chrome bulbs off ebay a few months ago. They worked and looked good when off, but I decided not to use them because they were so much dimmer than the stock bulbs. I didn't feel it was safe.

Yeah I did switch out my headlights for newer ones so maybe that is why but I think if you want a stealth bulb, I would just get the Silverstar ones as they are "clear" but light up amber
