silly question: will 245/40/18 and 255/40/18 fit?
The reason i ask is i found a good deal on some snow tires, but they arent the exact size as stock.
Has anyone mounted tires of this size on their stock wheels and had no rubbing?
Thanks

what do you drive? I assume its an e55/e63 since you're on the forum. if so, 245/40/18 is the stock front size, and 265/35/18 the stock rear size. I don't imagine there would be an issue with putting a 255 on the back

.
I run 245/40-18 on all four corners in the winter on a stock set of wheels (Blizzak LM60 XL). The rears look a bit odd on the wider wheel, but they work fine.
Narrow is good when it comes to winter driving. Just be sure to get a tire with the proper load rating, the E55 is a heavy car and not all snow tires are going to carry the weight safely. (I had to get the "XL" version of the Blizzak for that reason)
