Exactly! Nice work. Also, FYI, the Lefties managed to ban that particular UV sealant from Kalifornia in case someone lives in this odd ball state as I do. Picked it up when I went to Vegas.

also some oem headlights dont just go up and down. they also turn left and right as you turn... i wouldnt buy some bs lights to replace them. oem is too expensive.. i would really look into a good detailer.

THANK YOU ALL , I ended up doing it all by myself and pretty impressed with the results. I could've done a better job but I park in underground parking not enough light and outside too damn cold

And Yes I'd be more careful from now on.

THANK YOU ALL

good stuff bro !!

are you using stock bulbs?

i changed mine to 8k and have matching LEd parking bulbs. not too expensive and it looks beautiful. just a suggestion. if you think 8k is too blue 5k is also nice.

The bulbs are stock bi-xenon which is 5K I believe

I got 8K from AZN optics wanted white, blue and yellow lol three different ones, there are still in transit though the tracking shows shipped Nov 13. So still waiting on them lol

This really makes me believe that the oxidation is on the outside and not the inside with condensation.

E55 AMG
Depending on how deep any rock chip are, will depend on the grit of sandpaper you will need to use. On the wifes 5-series, I start with 600 grit and work my way up to 3000 grit. Then, a thorough washing, UV-resistant Clear (Krylon) and go at it with my buffer and jelewers rouge.
I use the same method to polish motorcycle frams, wheels etc. I have used it on 3-4 sets of headlights and they have held up for several years. I have heard good things about the Helmsman method, so will use that on my E when I get home.

I used the 3M kit for my headlights and they did a nice job but the 3M kit was a bit pricy.

I paid only $40 someone do it in my driveway. If you park your car outside over night, it will get that condition easy.

I got the 3M kit for only 33$ , to get it done by Canadian Tire would've costed me 157$ . I had already tried MOther's kit which didn't work as well cuz back then I didnt know what to do and the sandpapers in the kit were hand held so couldn't put on a drill.

So based on that $50 in total compared to $157 I saved
