Firechaser:It's the best color to you and 80% of the people...everyone has blk! Like I said earlier...I just do not love black...I like it, but I just don't love it or cleaning it all the time. I have a 5 car garage, 2 enclosed car trailers and my everyday truck stays outside and even in there all the cars get dusty. If I found the right blk/blk car I would buy it. I looked at 2 blk cars.
Most of my cars hibernate in the winter but on nice days with no salt on the road I use them from time to time. Most people with these cars don't use them everyday. If I put 3k miles a year on the one I eventually get...it will be a lot but I do understand that a lot of the people on the forum use them everyday. It's cool that you guys use them a lot and most of the time those guys take care of them as well or better than other guys who do not use them. I personally am a car fanatic so I do take care of stuff very well.

I am trying to send pics of some of them and they won't load for some reason...I am late and have to run out to see these cars. Maybe someone can help me later.

Well Dr jabbi...you live in NJ, that's one of the worst States going for rot....so regardless where you purchase a car from it will be nicely rusted in no time. I live next store in PA...and my car came from PA and my E55 is beautiful underneath along w/ my 25 year old Buick that also came out of PA. And Nomad....Black on Black is the ultimate color combo! And Skratch, I can do that at 60MPH in the summer w/ a 6 cylinder spooled w/ slicks what you posted in your video
( all in fun...no pun intended)

Nope!
I'm keeping my car guys its literally perfect and just ordered a e63 body kit for it.were taking the 195mm pulley off the car and going back to stock boost so I can actually use first and second gear again.
Going sideways at 60-70 is not fun and I turned my car into a dyno qween.
My latest dyno is 560whp 620 rwt

First of all it is not proven yet that the motor will not be some time bomb so I am no guinea pig and second, I do not get loans for cars, so not only do I do not want to tie up $100k but I am also not the guy who loses $40k on a car or $25k or whatever. All the cars I have are old collectible investment cars. I drive them, I collect them, I sell them and find others. I am constantly on the hunt for others. Going out all day today looking at 3 dif old cars from 3 dif guys and then I have one guy that has like 35 cars for me to see. Presently I have a 1966 vette conv. with many options incl. 327/350hp 4 sp, 1960 nomad (of course my user name) 348 tri-power wagon, 1970 vette conv., 1969 camaro z/28 clone, 1970 camaro 396 4 sp, 1972 vette coupe rare color every option, 1972 challenger 340 4 sp and almost every option orig. black car with pistol grip 4 sp and a/c (very rare), another 69 camaro ss 4 sp w/350 allum. heads, 1964 impala conv. 409 4 sp car and a few other misc. cars that I have for sale. I have many of these listed for sale and when I think it is time I will have the others listed as well and have a new inventory but some are not for sale...yet! lol

I think it is too early for those Bi-Turbos. There aren't that many mods for those cars besides the tunes and such. It would be a really expensive project if something were to go wrong. I think another 2-3 years is where everyone will dump their 55s for the new bi-turbos. I know i will be one in 2014-2015

[QUOTE=moosejaw;5450649]Oh, who told you this ?
Ive known of a few Renntech cars refused warranty work at the dealer.
I believe what you've said is a myth, bc Ive heard that and believed that before.[/QU
you guys are both right. some dealers have no problem with renntech and they will still cover ur car under warranty and other ****ty dealers wont.

I say this because there are people with tunes, downpipes, upgraded turbos, what more do you want?

I didn't even know they had upgraded turbos out? Either way if something does go wrong, it would be expensive to fix.

Is this directed at me or someone else in the thread?
I have nothing against you at all, but if it is toward me, well I have to say Moosejaw and the others were right about you and you need to do a little searching for yourself and educate yourself when doing it.

No, not directed at you Urbamworm. Another member, sorry or the confusion.
It was in reference to another thread were I suggested a member get headers. It was then said to not listen to a member that doesn't have headers. Because of course if you don't have something, then you can't give your opinion on them right?

I don't care how credible you are or not. I don't care if you have been a forum member for 10 years or 10 minutes. You don't claim something extraordinary in the quarter mile and refuse to post a time slip. That, ladies and gentleman, is forum etiquette 101.
"I trapped 130 but I don't have anything to prove so I'm not going to post a slip..."
For the sake of the community, please leave your fictional society and join the real world. Did you have the winning powerball ticket as well?
If, indeed, you did trap 130 that is an incredible accomplishment but without documentation the claim is equivalent to a pile of steaming fly swarming horse stool.

Renntech is a independent Licensed Florida Corporation opening its doors just north of me in 1989. When Harmut parted ways with AMG, they were still an independent company. Maybe they parted on good terms as they sought a distributor for AMG products in North America. But when MB bought AMG 10 years later, that deal was moot.
Renntech offers products for other manufacturers as well, so your claim that they are part of AMG wouldn't jive at all.
I would assume that in order for a renntech car to be part of a warranty, all of the the work would have to be purchased and done at that dealer.
Even Renntechs own website neither confirms or denys it products will work with or void your warranty.
There's a forum member here who works there that confirm the above
I forget his handle.

Skratch said he trapped 130 last time at the track but didn't get a good run and ran like 11.7 from spinning or something like that. He never posted a slip after saying he did 130.

I known Harmut off and on for the better part of ten years since my first C43 and yes he was one of the top engineers at AMG for a long time. I see him often at the track. Hes a real nice down to earth guy. I can tell you for a fact that Renntech is not an official offshoot of AMG.

I showed the slip to a bunch of people and texted it to a few also.I never got around to posting it because the next day after I ran we got hit with sandy and my restaurant was flooding and I ran around like mad trying to find a generator to hook up to keep the food from going bad without power
