id get an American Comand
A European Comand wont have the Satellite Radio function
Your car should be prewired already for Satellite

The bluetooth unit could be hardwired, but i dont like tinkering around with the cars electronics
It only cost me $30 on amazon, no fm transmitter or inverter needed, plugs into the aux.

Yea I've looking at Navi's online and its not bad of a price and it will sure make the dash look alot better.

Anyone know the part number for the AUX for the command?

Quote: Sorry I don't have pics yet since I bought the car last Sat and had to leave for LA the next morning. But I'll post some up when Im back.

2003 E55 AMG with 68k Miles

Got it for a great deal but there was some minor issues like door actuator and broken foglight but Im going to fix that when I get back.

Had a few questions if anyone can help me

1. Im getting some 06 CLS55 AMG OEM wheels from a friend and I had a question on the tires. Im thinking of running 255/35/19 & 285/30/19 and I'm going to lower it so there is no wheel gap, not dumped or anything. Will this fitment be fine?

2. Im having a hardtime finding some sort of aftermarket bluetooth connection for my phone. I dont care so much for using it to make calls but mainly so I can stream pandora and music from my iPhone. My previous car i had a M3 and Dice electronics had a awesome product that let me stream everything with bluetooth, calls and music. I searched about the bluetooth puck but it looks like it only does calls. Or even if there was some aux kit that connected to the stock headunit or some ipod connection, but I dont want the ipod connection that you put in the glovebox because I wont be able to use pandora.

or if there is any other options please let me know

3. I read about the cheap washer lowering method, now with this method does it lower it enough for the front so it sits with no wheel gap? Also I read people just bent the rear rod alittle for it to lower, is that even safe?

Or I may just get lowering links, anyone have a brand they look more then others or they just all the same?

4. I hate the yellow DRL, but I know how safe they are too have, has anyone swapped them out for HID's?

Thanks again for the help
Congrats on pickin up the ride and hello to my fellow korean!

1. If you're going to drop it to the point of no wheel gap, I'm pretty sure you'll rub. I'm running CLS wheels on my 03 also but I'm running a 245/40/18 in the front and a 275/35/18 in the rear. I'm dropped on coils and have it set to no gap between tire and fenders.

2. No idea on BT stuff...I'm sure there will be some answers from other members...

3. I would skip on the washer method. I know some have had no problems with it but I don't think I can do it. I'd go with coilovers just to get rid of the fear of airmatic failure, but you can always go with a lowering module or even Star Diagnostics.

4. Search Azn Optics on this forum. He has whole list of bulbs for our rides.

Hope this helps...Welcome again and definitely post up some pics when you get back from your trip!

Congrats on the new ride!

I'm also running CLS55 wheels with NT05 245/275 and only encounter a little wheel rub up front when dealing with steep entrance angles while the wheel is turned. The airmatic is great for this since obstacle mode puts it at about stock height with zero rub. Also lowered via air ride links.

Here is a shot of the 235/275 Nito NT05s on CLS55 19s:

Sorry, that was an early morning typo. 245 front, 275 rear.

The rears never rub.

Quote: Congrats on the car pickup! Enjoy the ride man... this thing will throw you in your seat like no M3 has ever done!

I just came across this Bluetooth / Auxiliary gateway on a deals site:

http://www.dailysteals.com/

Might want to check some reviews out and get it... it's a really good price.
so I got one of these - I figured for $15 why not... so - where does the 3.5mm plug go?
