Thanks. So I am thinking the car was wrecked or the other rims got rashed so bad from hitting curbs they swapped them out.

As said above, those came off a CLS55. They're better than the E63 wheels in my opinion.

Bingo...If you have to ask the question, you should be taking it to a very good independent (that specializes in MB) or a dealer for a pre-purchase inspection...

I wouldn't worry about it too much man, I bought Forgestar wheels after my stock AMG wheels cracked on me. No accident, no nothing, just randomly started leaking air every few days. At first I thought it was my tires, so I went to have them checked out. After they pulled them off they immediately saw a very tiny hairline crack on the inside of my wheel.

I posted about my cracked AMG wheel in another thread where others had cracked AMG wheels. I wasn't about to cough up $2 grand for one rim, so I simply bought a whole new set of rims.

In this case I would assume you make sure carfax is clean, and if it is, it shouldn't be a problem, maybe the owner just liked the CLS rims better!

I had the same rims on my E63. Previous owner thought they looked better than the stock 18" wheels and I agree. The concave on the rears look bad ***!!

You should be getting it checked out regardless if the rims have been changed or not.

I like the wheels on there a lot better then the stock 63 ones. As others have mentioned, run a carfax to see if there is anything suspicious or because he just ended up putting the wheels on there. Good luck!
