Has anyone solved the right rear wheel clunking noise
There is this clunking noise coming from the right where wheel.. I know many others has experienced, but everywhere i searched i end up in a dead end... Either they dont update the thread or they havent fixed it.. I pmed three people so far..
Its not the dead body in the trunk noise... Its sort of like you are hitting multiple pot holes with the right rear wheel, when in reality you hit a small sewer cap..
I had the car put on a lift... The subframe seems fine..Bolts are tight.. We went over everything with a pry bar. No unusal movement. No leaking from the struts Needless to say im stumped. Going to start changing parts until i can solve this problem
Any suggestions where to start, especially from the people who fixed or tried to fix

I don't have this on the E55 (then again i've only had it a week), but I had similar on both my wife's honda element and my M Roadster. Both times they were related to suspension bushings of one sort or another.
Wife's car was control arm bushings. My car was rear shock mounts.
Basically only when it's being compressed that a busted bushing lets metal hit metal. Otherwise all seems tight.
