CD player ate my disc.... is there an emergency eject anywhere?
So I read that my CD player would play MP3s burned on a CD. So I found one of my older CD's and stuck it in there... the headunit happily ate my CD.... and then immediately pretended like there was no disc in there.
When I hit the audio button, the CD option is greyed out. Without that option being active, I can't even get to the eject button.
I honestly don't care if the in-dash changer doesn't work, but i'd like my CD back damnit! It was actually a mix-disc that was given to me as a gift many years ago.
Anyway... is there the emergency eject equivialnt of a "paper clip hole" found on most other optical disc players somewhere on this thing?
Also... if I did want this fixed... and I were willing to change out the headunit, are all of the newer benz COMAND headunits (with touch screen perhaps?) plug and play?
