Any tuners in the NW?
I have tried to search but nothing. Anybody know anyone around here that can tune mercedes?
Or, is there a group we can put together that needs tuning that we could go in together and fly someone out here?
I am in Portland, Oregon

Eurocharged will do remote tunes, you could rent the dyno at PSI (or any other shop of your choice) and have Eurocharged remote dyno tune your car or you can buy their little tuner box (don't remember what it is called).

i know the owner of psi and john reed is one of the best tuners in the world. they don't support mercedes though. if they did, i wouldn't be posting this. real bummer becasue i have known those guys for quite a few years now.
i am trying to get away from paying for a dyno, and then a tuner also thousands of miles away to tune it remotely. there is way too much lost in the translation over the phone and the driveability problems are my main concern and the hardest to tune out. flying someone out would still be a double cost (dyno rental and tuner) but, atleast changes can be made easier and faster with tuner feeling exactly what is happening.
it is hard for me to take off a full week and drive 1000-2200 miles each way to get the car in front of the tuners posting here. the gas cost and time loss makes buying some plane tickets cheaper. i am sure i cant be the only one in the nw. more would just make it cheaper on the travel expenses. most any shop will rent their dyno out, so that is the easy part.

there is one place in portland that "specializes" in mercedes, but the best they can do is plug the star system into it. lol
if you read my sig, i need this car dialed in, not an over the counter guesstimate on the tune. it is fine for putting around, but i don't feel comfortable nailing it through a few gears right now.

I hear you OZ, very few owners tune while driving. Next time Jeremy is my neck of the woods, I'd like to tune my car on the street. Would like to add, my car was dyno tuned, no driveability issues whatsoever. Cruises like she was stock.

oe is the closest to me in socal. the main thing that sucks is i am surrounded by the rockies if i go east or south. the pass this time of year would be a mess and rock chip city! sounds like i would still need to rent a dyno with them too. heard they are getting one soon though. if renting dyno also, it would probably be better for me to fly them up here and not worry about making it through the pass and paying for gas.
i just have weird drivabilty things going on. people gotta be looking at me weird when i take off from a stop. sounds like i am shifting like a retard and playing with the throttle. in reality, i am just trying to take off at a normal pace, haha.

Put together a tuning session. He tunes just about every make, doesn't have to be catered to just MBz. Helps to hit up some of the other boards, BMW, P cars etc. Cheaper on your end as well.
