Nice video RBJ but these new E63 are on a different level of performance. I can't wait to get my hands on one myself. I'll keep my E55 for another year or two then its twin turbo E63 time. As soon as it depreciate i'll be in the market for one. If i dont get one, i may turbo my E55.

I've hear about the spark plug issue. I think the dealer offers a upgrade plug no? If you know of any other issues please share the knowledge.

The plugs have shown to get VERY hot, and the porcelain has shown to get defective on the plug and crack. A few members had the porcelain from the plugs drop into the cylinder and you know what happens from there.
I have seen this happen a few times locally too, where the plugs get ruined along with the coil packs, and needed a complete replacement along with going back to the stock ecu file
They make alot of power and tq from a flash it seems like, but have not shown to sustain that gain for very long. Maybe this is on the earlier models only, I dont have any inside information on that though.

I am refering to the plugs becoming hot and defective Rock, not the actual motor not been able to sustain the power, rather the plug issue.
I first stumbled across this in the W212 Bi Turbo section over a year ago, I believe a member in the United Arab Emriates bought a pewter cls 63 biturbo, and shortly after his tune, he had a major issue with his plugs. There are a few issues reported by members after they had their cars tuned. The threads are in the 212 section, using the search function.
Lastly, it happened to one of BIP's customers M157 Biturbo car too.

Well, that's that. Least now we know. Damn is that TT a friggin monster!
Keep you chins up though 55 gents, it's highly disputed but I truly believe the E55 W211 literally STARTED the horsepower wars that have been going on for the past 10 years. I kinda look on the TT as a son eventually that kicks your azz in sports. Feels bad but so proud at the same time.
