Don't know about the rest of you, but the hands-free functionality of the factory phone is crap in my car. Is this part of the audio gateway problem, or just bad design, or what? I had better hands-free car phones 15 years ago. Appreciate any input from other owners.

What about it don't you like? Mine works fine--I'd like voice activation, but other than that, it works fine.

you can get voice activation now....atleast for the non amg version of the e-class, but im sure it will work, i believe it costs $480 plus dealer install
