...when women want to be with you and men want to be you.
...when drivers of Audis and other lesser automobiles weep uncontrollably at your arrival.
...when you go to the dealer to get parts and also get humped in the butt dry.
...when you start sweating in your car in the middle of summer because the A/C kinda sucks for a car of this caliber.
...when WTF is that gas smell? I just replaced the fu*king fuel pump!
...when suddenly CEL!
...when you use other GPS navigation devices because the stock one sucks.
...when you don't give a S.H.I.T. about the A/C, weak audio, or crappy nav because you're driving the automotive equivalent of Hulk Hogan in a tuxedo.
...when you see a flashing yellow triangle on a highway pull.

When it just doesn't make sense to you (if you bought your 55 used) why someone would pay anything more than what you did (me...I caught one coming off lease from MB in 2009...at auction...for about 1/3 of it's sticker) for something so much less superior...
My AVP and I traded cars just the other week because he wanted to drive mine (he just got a 2013 550i)...and while it was nice...actually really nice..it did NOT seem fast. Nice gadgets...but nothing that made me say, "Wow...this car really IS worth about 3 times as much as mine!"
There are a lot of things I wish my car had that a lot of new lower level cars come stock with... But in my mind, I got the best bargain on the planet.

Look for the brakes and exhaust on every E class that rolls by...,
Scoff at the AMG badge being used sacrilegiously...
My car has keyless go, when I drive my truck I pull the door handle a good 4 or 5 times be before I figure out that its not going to open without using the key fob.

When you drive with the sunroof open to drown out that pano creek.
When you wake up and get upset with the rain and the effect it will have on your morning commute.
When you switch to manual mode and rev up the engine and let the revs drop naturally with all its farts and gurgles.
(only for E63) When you see that V8 Kompressor or e55 badging and tell yourself fffffuuu..... maybe he didn't see you.
But you roll up and thumbs up anyway
