Changed tanks from Pewter to red and coated air tubes flat black. Air filters work for now but will be enclosed soon. The SC wine is so loud on this motor with duel snorkles. It has been fun to see the looks in traffic , when they hear the SC wine and then the exhaust roar that rivals a stroked Z06.





Engine rotating mass is 17lbs lighter than last motor and with lighter rotors, light battery and in sreet trim, we are looking at 130 lbs lighter than last motor. Then with using a drag pack for the 1/4 mile, that looks to be taking another 100 lbs of un-sprung weight off.

Front Konesi(sp) wheels and CLK 16" rear wheels for drag pack.


These are the light rotor hats. ASP custom hats on front, Evosport on the rear and evosport rotors all around with Akebono pads.

Run the filters into the secondary lights (remove the lights) and make a plate to close it off if it should rain, but on nice clear days ram mfkin air buddy!

I had a custom intake setup made years ago that did that and i designed it so i can drive in the rain (and did many times)

Thanks! Sorry for the slow reply but out testing and trying to fix a blockage in my heat exchangers.

My plan was to do the tanks in Ferrari, flat textured red but since they had powder on them already, they came out with a little gloss.

Still working on the filters but they work well for short runs on a cool engine for now. The Sound of the SC through the intake is addicting.

I do not have a qualife and not sure they make one for the CL pumkin. I know Kleeman has a welded mod for them but in a striaght line, both tires hook well, so far.

Dennis, you need more air as well for your set up.

I like it, found an inexpensive place myself for the right tee also (no PMs). Knock out those valve cover gaskets and perhaps a cleaning of the blower and your set.

Got several PM`s asking about the filter style on the intake. The filter is open in the front and lines up with the fresh air holes in the radiator.
