CF diffuser install tips?
Trying to brainstorm the best way to install this SUVNEER diffuser. The fitment is good but not PERFECT, but it's great for the price and I can't wait to get it on.
Anyone that has installed this on their car care to tell how they installed it?

Really don't want to bash the product or anything because it's great but when test fitting it it kind of pokes out (too much?) and also the exhaust gets tucked in pretty far afterward and touches the carbon fiber and it just looks weird.. not sure how to fix that besides having the exhaust tips re-positioned from a weld shop.

I think I might just have a buddies body shop cut the bumper out so that it will sit flush instead of poking out. Or might just buy a nice(r) dremel tool and turn it into a DIY.

This is what the diffuser should look like.. I hate how the other diffusers go onto the other side of the exhaust.. Looks cheap

Not to mention a number of things I could think of that could go wrong while trying to mount onto a removed bumper. Like the bumper not being in it's original shape and then realizing the diffuser and screws are in bad placement when trying to reinstall the bumper. Or reinstalling the bumper incorrectly and/or broken tabs and whatnot 'causing bad fitment for the entire thing (personal problem LOL).
Not true..

The point (at least in my case) is to retain the 'stock look'. Not look like I added an aftermarket diffuser..

I don't understand why people are pulling the bumper? Is it only to make the attaching easier or is there some kind of necessary purpose? Really not trying to go that whole route.

Yes, the edge of the bumper and diffuser should be even. And the exhaust should still protrude out the back.

It didn't pull any bumper my self. I put double sided tape first after aligning it of course, then put self tapping screws with lock washers

I had the Suvneer rear diffuser, but upon test fitting I didnt like how it fit/didnt fit. I have the Suvneer front lip and it fit without a problem, but the rear has a few more contours and lines to mate up to.
Went with the more expensive euroteck piece instead and it matched up perfectly.
Not saying the cars with Suvneer rear diffusers look bad by any means, just not my taste.

I bought the suvneer diffuser also.
Where exact did you use the self tapping screws and which size did you use?
Did you just install it on the black oem diffuser?
Thx :-)

Just for reference in case anyone finds this thread in the future, I did a little fab work and ended up making this diffuser sit pretty flush on my bumper and posted a DIY for it.
