It is engine paint/enamel (500*), not the best picture quality, but it looks aggressive in person.
Re-wrapped the tubing in red to top it off.

I removed the airbox system which pulls right up, the tanks and blower was left in place. took about an hour to tape off and pull plastic tarping over the motor and hood. used 2.5 cans of gloss black engine enamel paint, and 2 heavy coats of clear gloss enamel. the exhaust wrap is bright red from summit.

hey craig, what i did on mine to get the wrap color exactly the same red was just sprayed it with the same paint as the red color i used on the engine. i know that red wrap isn't quite as brite as most red paints. helps keep the dam fiberglass fibers glued in instead of floating all over the engine compartment too.
