Was not fun clearing out his apartment. But it had to be done. His nasty ex wife was trying to get all his things. She just wanted his jewelry and money anyway. And I told the police and the landlord (also a Ft. Lauderdale cop) to give her my number and that I have all his things. Lol no call yet.

Anyways, thanks a lot guys! I hope everyone's New Year is a great one. Mine can't get any worse, right?

This hits particularly close to home for me, as I too, lost my father right before Christmas. Go ahead and super size that, as I almost lost my wife, in my arms, on Saturday. I'm not as comfortable as you, sharing all the details. But please, everyone learn CPR. You never know when you're gonna need it.
